The 51st festival of the Communist Youth of Greece (KNE) and its magazine "Odigitis" began its journey across the country

Already in many places (see photos from the festival events in Heraklion, Chania, Kalamata, Ikaria), political and cultural events have already been held under the slogan “We overthrow the old, forging the path to the new. Socialism – for justice to prevail!”

The 51st KNE-OdigitisFestival will “visit” dozens of cities in Greece again this year and will conclude on September 24-27 at Antonis Tritsis Park in Athens.

On Saturday, September 27, the General Secretary of the CC of the KKE, Dimitris Koutsoumpas, will speak, and the Secretary of the CC of KNE, Thodoris Kotsantis, will also address the young people.

The KNE-Odigitis festival is entering a new half-century, remaining youthful, vibrant, and relevant, because it reflects the concerns, hopes, and dreams of the new generation, calling on the people and youth to fight to overthrow the "old," the current system of wars, injustice, and exploitation, in order to pave the way for a new society of true freedom: socialism-communism.

During the four days of the festival, more than 400 singers and musicians will perform and participate in the main cultural events in Athens on four stages. There will be political discussions on various topical issues, exhibitions, sporting events, children's areas, and more.

The festival will feature a bookstore run by the publishing house "Synchroni Epohi" (Contemporary Era).

Youth communist organizations from around the world will participate in the "International City."
